YWAM Tyler DTS 준비하기 (How to prepare to do DTS at YWAM Tyler)

이번 포스트는 YWAM Tyler CCC(전 ESL)에 이어 YWAM의 입문 스쿨인 Disciple Training School(이하 DTS - 제자훈련)에 대해 써보고자 합니다.

I'd like to post about doing Discipleship Training School(DTS) at YWAM Tyler, which is an entry step into YWAM.

DTS란? (What is DTS?)

 YWAM은 선교 훈련을 위한 성경학교, 전도학교, 선교전략, 기독교 교육, 기독교 상담 등 매우 다양한 프로그램을 운영하고 있습니다. 그러나 이러한 스쿨(일명 Second School 이하 세컨스쿨)을 듣기 위해서는 YWAM입문 프로그램을 이수해야 자격이 주어지게 되는데 그 프로그램이 DTS입니다.

YWAM offers various schools for mission training such as Bible school, school of evangelism, strategic missions, Christian education, and Christian counseling. But if you want to take these schools called second school, you have to take an entry school which is DTS.

DTS는 입문 프로그램일 뿐 아니라 예수님의 제자로 살아가는 것이 무엇인지에 대해 성경에 기초하는 내용을 배우는 과정으로 구성이 되어 있습니다.

DTS is not only an entry school but also learning how to live as a His disciple based on the Bible.

한국에도 홍천, 제주 등 일반 DTS를 운영하는 예수전도단 지부가 있고 주요 대학교에 동아리 형태로 운영되며 대학DTS(UDTS - 8개월 과정)가 별도로 운영되고 있습니다.(저는 대학생때 날라리 신자였기 때문에 UDTS는 몰라용 ^^;;)

YWAM Jeju, Hongchon, or some other bases in Korea also offers DTS, and many universities have a YWAM club, which offer UDTS as a 8 months course. (But I don't know much about UDTS because I wasn't that much faithful that time.)

YWAM Tyler의 DTS 종류와 스케줄 (The types and schedule of DTS)

YWAM Tyler의 DTS는 홈페이지에는 이것저것 나와있지만 크게 두가지로 구분됩니다. 일반 DTS(이하 DTS)와 Crossroads DTS(이하 CDTS)입니다.

The official website of YWAM Tyler shows several DTSs but it can be divided Classic DTS and Crossroads DTS(CDTS).

DTS의 학생은 보통 고등학교를 갓 졸업한 10대 후반이나 20대 중후반까지의 젊은 연령층으로 구성되어 있고 CDTS의 경우에는 30대 이상이나 결혼한 부부로 구성이 되어 있습니다. (그렇다고 부부가 DTS를 못한다거나 젊은 사람이 CDTS를 못하는 제약은 없습니다.)

Classic DTS consist of young students like teenager and under 30's, and CDTS consists of single people who is older than 30 or married couple. (It doesn't mean that older people cannot take regular DTS or young people cannot take CDTS.)

기본적인 스케줄은 DTS의 경우 1, 3, 4분기에 스쿨이 열리고 CDTS의 경우에는 1, 3분기에 열리고 있습니다.

YWAM Tyler에서 CCC(전 ESL)와 연계하는 분들의 경우에는 2분기 CCC의 경우 3분기 DTS와, 4분기 CCC의 경우에는 1분기 DTS와 연계가 가능합니다.

Basic schedule is that DTS will open at the beginning of 1st, 3rd and 4th quarter, and CDTS will open at the beginning of 1st and 3rd quarter. So if you want to take DTS or CDTS after CCC at YWAM Tyler, you can take DTS of 3rd quarter after CCC of 2nd quarter, and DTS of 1st quarter after CCC of 4th quarter.

DTS 교재 (Textbooks)

  
DTS는 교재가 스쿨마다 조금씩 다르긴 하지만 기본적 교재는 '하나님 정말 당신이십니까 (예수전도단, 저자: 로렌 커닝햄)' 입니다. 그 밖에 읽어두면 도움되는 책들은 다음과 같습니다.

Basically, every DTS uses different textbooks but 'Is that really you God' is basic textbook for DTS. And there are several books that can help you to prepare DTS.

위 책들은 제가 DTS를 준비하면서 읽었던 책들이고 실제로 DTS를 하는데 있어서 큰 도움이 되었습니다.

I've read all these books when I was preparing DTS and these really helped me a lot.

DTS 과정 (Curriculums)

기본적으로 강사 한명이 일주일간 강의하는 형태로 진행이 됩니다. 대략적인 커리큘럼은 하나님의 음성 듣는 법, 중보기도, 제자도, 영적 전쟁, 내려놓음 등 크리스챤으로서 예수님의 제자가 되는것이 어떤것인지, 어떻게 살아야 하는지에 대한 부분들을 배우게 됩니다.

One speaker teaches a week. Basic curriculums are how to listen to God's voice, intercession prayer, the discipleships, spiritual warfare, and surrendering that teach students who His disciple is and how to live the disciple.

또한, 12주 간의 강의단계 중에 전도여행에서 할 드라마, 예배 등을 연습하는 시간도 있습니다.

Also students will prepare dramas and worship for the outreach during the lecture phase.
