Using Motorola MOTO X on StraightTalk
I bought unlocked MOTO X on www.motorola.com website last weekend and today I cut the AT&T compatible micro SIM card from my old phone and put it in my MOTO X.(I was using Galaxy Nexus with Straight Talk.)
As you can see the screenshot above, the carrier on left top shows "4G LTE". If MOTO X connect HSPA+, which AT&T calls it 4G, the carrier shows only "4G"
And there is the screenshot of speed test.
There are two test results. I tested these on 4G and 4G LTE. First result(down), which indicates 2.79Mbps of download and 1.13Mbps of upload, is on "4G" network and second result shows how much fast 4G LTE is.
If you are wondering that MOTO X can connect to LTE network on Straight Talk or not, I can tell "yes".
